Installing and Compiling
The hardest part about getting mod_perl to work is probably the initial
installation. While both Perl and Apache are now available on Win32-based
systems, as well as those running Unix, the steps and requirements are
different for each.
If you're working with a Win32 system, things are a bit easier because
mod_perl is distributed as a binary for x86. Also, the installation process
is already well-documented
(refer to the README file for more information).
But if you're working with Unix, then I have some explaining to do.
