By now you have been through the ringer - having dived into the Intro to
Flash tutorial as well as Lesson 1 of this Advanced
Flash tutorial. So you should be at least on speaking terms with the three
symbol types, the concepts behind a good morph, and a whole host of ways
to make some mighty over-the-top buttons.
Well in this lesson, you'll be creating something like the
pulldown-and-dirty example above (if you haven't already, please click
around and run it through its paces to see what it can do). Pretty neat,
isn't it? Especially when you consider the kinds of interaction you could create using this fairly tame pulldown menu.
There's a lot going on in this example, but this lesson should explain
all of it. First, let's start with an important part of the pulldown menu's
functionality: the Tell Target action.
